- The Newport Beachside Hotel & Resort is 100 percent non-smoking.
- The resort's private pier is currently closed and only a portion is open to pedestrian traffic at this time. Fishing is not permitted. Please note the resort charges a 15 per-night, per-room resort fee which will be collected by the hotel at checkout. This fee includes use of the following: unlimited use of beach lounges and chairs, full resort activities program for children and adults, free local calls, free first 20 minutes of 1-800, live entertainment throughout the hotel, admission to beach playground, health club and activity center, complimentary local newspaper at Cappuccinos Monday-Saturday, free wireless internet access, in room safe and coffee maker, and complimentary incoming faxes. Discounts are offered for non-motorized water sports rentals.
